Riverside Research a Diamond Sponsor of the 2013 Ohio UAS Conference

Dayton, Ohio – Riverside Research announced today that the company will be a Diamond Sponsor of the 2013 Ohio UAS Conference hosted by the Dayton Development Coalition (DDC) April 23-25 at Sinclair Community College.

Several experts will be on hand to demonstrate UAS course development and instruction, independent research and development efforts in precision agriculture, and mission planning tools such as the customizable Aircraft Mission Planner (iAMP) that integrates digital GIS data with platform and sensor characteristics to quickly plan, analyze, and re-plan collection missions for both manned and unmanned, fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft. Demonstrations will occur on demand and at scheduled times throughout the day at booth 7. Live updates will be posted on Twitter @RiversideRsch during the conference.

Glen Salo, Manager of the company’s Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) Lab, will lead the Precision Agriculture Panel on Tuesday, April 23.

Attend one of our UAS Training Sessions

The final day of the conference will highlight an important partnership between industry and academia as attendees will have the opportunity to earn continuing education units (0.5 CEUs) simply by attending one of four UAS short courses developed by Riverside Research for Sinclair’s Workforce Development division. Regularly 8-16 hours in length, 4-hour preview versions of these courses are included with conference registration at no additional charge and will run concurrently on Thursday, April 25; therefore, attendees must choose to attend one of the following:
