Riverside Research Awarded $48M Contract to Support AFRL

DAYTON, OH – Riverside Research, a not-for-profit company primarily serving the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Intelligence Community, was awarded Air Force Research Laboratory’s (AFRL) “Microelectronics and Embedded Systems Assurance (MESA)” contract in September.

Worth an estimated $48 million, the multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity MESA contract will span seven years. As a prime contractor, Riverside Research will provide technical work relating to the assurance of the security, reliability, and trustworthiness of microelectronic devices, integrated circuits, and the intellectual property they host.

In support of the MESA program, Riverside Research will conduct basic, applied, and advanced research and development with intent to develop, evaluate, and facilitate the transition of technologies that improve the security and reliability of microelectronics and embedded systems. These efforts encompass a multi-faceted approach to assurance for DOD weapons systems at the microelectronics device and architecture level.
