Louisiana Tech University and Riverside Research form strategic partnership to expand research and education opportunities - especially for Cybersecurity

RUSTON, LA – Louisiana Tech University, a tier one university in Ruston, Louisiana, and Riverside Research, a not-for-profit defense contractor, announced today the signing of a Strategic Cooperation Agreement (SCA) that enables the two organizations to jointly pursue new academic and educational research initiatives.

In today’s co-signing ceremony hosted on the Louisiana Tech campus, University President Dr. Les Guice and Riverside Research President Richard Annas expressed their pleasure in formalizing this relationship. “This partnership will enable new, mission-focused solutions for our defense and intelligence customers by advancing scientific knowledge in areas critical to national security,” said Mr. Annas. Dr. Guice agreed and observed that he was especially happy to form this partnership with its potential for creating more high tech jobs in North Louisiana.

“Louisiana Tech faculty and students measure up to among the best in the nation,” added John Morris, Riverside Research Chief Scientist and Louisiana Tech alumnus. “We are very excited to be partnering with such talented individuals.” Dr. Stan Napper, Louisiana Tech Vice President for Research and Development, also expressed enthusiasm at the new opportunities university faculty and students would encounter in the partnership.
