WASHINGTON, DC – Riverside Research, a not-for-profit scientific research organization primarily supporting the Department of Defense (DOD) and Intelligence Community (IC), is honored to announce the election of Dr. Lisa Porter to its Board of Trustees.
With over 20 years of experience in the defense and technology industries, Dr. Porter is currently the Executive Vice President and Director of IQT Labs at In-Q-Tel (IQT). IQT is a non-profit strategic investor that accelerates the development and delivery of cutting-edge technologies to US government agencies. She also held leadership roles at Teledyne Scientific & Imaging, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the National Aeronautics and Space Administrations (NASA), and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
“Dr. Porter’s profound knowledge of technology development and the intelligence community will make her a great asset to the Board,” said Mr. Thomas Pitts, Riverside Research Chairman of the Board. “Her expertise is highly valued and will make a direct impact on the continued success of Riverside Research.”
Dr. Porter began her Riverside Research Board of Trustee duties effective March 21, 2017.
