DAYTON, OH – Riverside Research, a not-for-profit scientific research company primarily serving the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Intelligence Community (IC), received a commemorative plaque from the Dayton Veterans’ & Employers’ Connection for its membership and support to the organization.
The Veterans’ & Employers’ Connection aims to provide meaningful, long-term employment opportunities for veterans across the Miami Valley, with particular emphasis on veterans with disabilities and wounded warriors.
“Riverside Research is proud to support the Veterans’ & Employers’ Connection,” said Richard Annas, President, Riverside Research. “Historically speaking, our reputation for technical excellence and trusted solutions has been built by a workforce predominantly comprised of veterans. Today, fifty-one percent of our current workforce are either veterans or active duty guardsmen or reservists. As a company that provides specialized technical research and services to the DOD and IC, we prize the knowledge and expertise that former service men and women bring to our workforce.”
Daniel Semsel, Director of Veterans Employment Services, Veterans’ & Employers’ Connection, visited Riverside Research’s Dayton Research Center to present the commemorative plaque, recognizing the company for its one-year membership anniversary. Riverside Research joined the Veterans’ & Employers’ Connection in November 2014.
