Open for Innovation at GEOINT 2017

31 May 2017

WASHINGTON, DC – Riverside Research, a not-for-profit scientific research company primarily serving the US Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community, will be showcasing their capabilities at the 2017 Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Symposium, June 5-7, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX.

Located at booth 1233, Riverside Research invites you to learn about how their open innovation R&D model advances science in artificial intelligence/machine learning, radar, hyperspectral, plasma physics, and modeling and simulation. Riverside Research experts will be demonstrating the Collection Planning Suite (CPS), a web-based modeling and simulation environment and an automated planning tool for space-based GEOINT. They will show how CPS and their Commercial GEOINT broker concept bridge the collective capabilities of GEOINT providers, while improving operational capacity and enabling future space resiliency.

“Riverside Research has a rich history of delivering innovative solutions involving many of the GEOINT community’s hardest challenges,” said President and CEO, Dr. Steven Omick. “Our unique blend of analysts, operators, scientists, and program support staff inform our research thrusts and advance the GEOINT mission for the intelligence community.”

Riverside Research will also have their remote sensing textbook, The Phenomenology of Intelligence-focused Remote Sensing, available for purchase at a discounted rate for GEOINT Symposium attendees, and daily drawings will be held to win a copy. Proceeds from all textbook sales benefit the Riverside Research and United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) Ken Miller Scholarship for Advanced Remote Sensing Applications.
