Riverside Research’s guiding management philosophy is to provide a superb team of experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), program managers, and individual team members to satisfy our customer needs. Our philosophy and practices ensure flexibility and the immediate responsiveness required to support both the urgent and long-term needs of our customers.
Our staff works closely with our sponsors to plan and manage program resources, develop concepts and documentation for new systems, provide independent technical evaluations and analyses, monitor prime contractor activities, engage in field-testing, and facilitate program execution. By virtue of our nonprofit, conflict-free status and our unblemished record of protecting proprietary data, Riverside Research enjoys the trust of competing industrial organizations. We have no commercial interest in the production of hardware or software. Consequently, Riverside Research has sought, and been privileged to perform, systems engineering and technical assistance (SETA) roles for various government agencies. In this capacity, we provide programmatic support to sponsoring agencies.

Riverside Research provides all levels of certified acquisition professionals across the spectrum of functional and engineering disciplines. This includes a cadre of highly experienced Level III Certified acquisition professionals. Their skills and talent support our sponsors in addressing the long-term needs of the future, while also recognizing immediate and urgent challenges. We provide the necessary skills and capabilities to address the need for rapid acquisition, and facilitate a quick and flexible response to support the needs of our warfighters.
Our areas of expertise include intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) throughout the entire tasking, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TPED) cycle; sensor/platform systems engineering; sensor technology development; electromagnetic sciences, data, and signal processing; program-development and acquisition support; and laboratory and field-testing. Our primary business areas include airborne reconnaissance, measurement and signature intelligence (MASINT), advanced geospatial intelligence (AGI), signals intelligence (SIGINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), missile defense, biomedical engineering, information assurance, and low-observable technology.
Riverside Research provides functional and program-management support to the following organizations: ODNI, NGA,HQ AF/A2, HQ Army/G2, Marine Corps Intelligence Agency (MCIA), NASIC, and others. We are a recognized leader in the development and application of AGI capabilities. This includes overhead non-imaging infrared (ONIR), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), thermal infrared, and spectral. We have a broad range of sensor expertise ,which includes seismic, acoustic/ hydro-acoustic, optical/electro-optical, electromagnetics, radio frequency, and radar.
