Associate Research Director, Intelligence & Defense Solutions Directorate
Richard Miller is an Associate Research Director within the Intelligence & Defense Solutions Directorate at Riverside Research where he leads Army contract efforts.
With over 30 years of intelligence experience in the disciplines of Geospatial Intelligence/Advanced Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT/AGI), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), his technical advice and solutions are sought after by numerous organizations ranging from the US Army Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) for Intelligence (G2) to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).
He has been a pioneer in the hyperspectral technology area since the mid-1990s operating R&D airborne hyperspectral sensors and recently led the second downlink ground-site architecture development efforts for the AFRL hyperspectral sensor (ARTEMIS) on the Tactical Satellite 3 (TacSat-3) platform.
Rich earned a BS in Technical Communications (cum laude) from University of Maryland – University College (UMUC) in 1996. He has also earned a Masters level certificate from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in the MASINT and AGI Certificate Program (MCP/ACP) as part of the first MCP/ACP graduating class from the NGA College (Winter 2005 session). Rich is a proud retired Army veteran who served our country for over 21 years.
